Bug Fix : Videofication Template

Bloggers using the recently released Videofication template were experiencing some problems while adding Pages into the Blog. This post explains how to fix the issue of page styling and page title.

To fix the Page Styling Issue
Add the following just before the </head> tag

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;static_page&quot;'>
<style>.cstyle, .js-kit-rating {display:none !important;}
.post-outer {height:100% !important;padding:5px;}</style>
</b:if>

To fix the Page Title Issue

The page title that you would have entered in the Title box in the Post Editor is not visible.

In the Edit HTML of the Page add the following Code at the top

<h2 style="font-family: Chelsea Market;" >TITLE</h2>

Replace TITLE with the respective title of the Page

Also Pages don’t support videos as the JavaScript is specifically written for posts only. Changing it to accommodate the pages into it will be very time consuming.

Alternatively you can add video via the Video option present in the Post Editor.

I think this addresses all the issues present, In case you are facing any problems please feel free to share

      In this too ,when you select all , you will see the title tag going into the Sidebar but now the Sidebar links under the selection will be select-able.

      This template contains a inbuilt Menu , you so might want to remove the Menu from the gadget. There is thing that this menu will not scroll down like the current one.

  1. hmm… i want to keep that "scroll down"-toolbar..
    i fixed it in the "older"-version:

    -edit html
    -search for "truncated"
    -u will find something like this:

    class="truncated-title" style="position:relative;left:230px;top:-170px;font-family:Chelsea Market;font-size:40px;"

    -add width:400px;

    class="truncated-title" style="position:relative;left:230px;top:-170px;400px;font-family:Chelsea Market;font-size:40px;"

    Menu will scroll down + Sidebar links under the selection will be select-able too 🙂

  2. bug: long description overlays right sidebar

    fix: change break-word width to 400px instead of 450px

    example:

    h2 div {
    font-family: arial !important;
    font-size: 15px;
    padding-top: 10px;
    word-wrap: break-word !important; width:400px;}
